Roger Mclean
Head of Distribution
Roger has more than 20 years of experience across the North American energy sector, spanning both traditional and renewable markets.
He specialises in building strategic partnerships and driving growth, with a strong focus on renewable energy insurance. Roger works closely with clients and partners to support projects across wind, solar, and battery storage, helping them navigate risk and scale with confidence.
His passion for innovation and sustainability continues to shape Tundra Specialty’s distribution strategy and market presence.
Ian Adams
Executive Vice President
Ian brings over 25 years of experience across underwriting and broking roles within the insurance and reinsurance industry. His career includes positions at leading firms where he developed a deep understanding of risk assessment, coverage design, and client servicing.
At Tundra Specialty, Ian plays a key role in underwriting operations and works closely with brokers and stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions.
His collaborative approach and technical expertise help ensure strong portfolio performance and long-term client relationships.
Oliver Spooner
Head of Claims
Oliver has more than 27 years of experience in the London claims market, including nearly two decades managing multiple lines of business at BMS Group.
He leads the claims function at Tundra Specialty, ensuring every claim is handled efficiently, fairly, and with minimal disruption to clients.
With a strong global network of adjusters, engineers, and specialists, Oliver ensures timely resolutions and a high standard of service throughout the claims process.
Josh Melville
Underwriter
Josh began his career in the insurance market at Albus, where he gained hands-on experience reviewing accounts, supporting underwriting processes, and managing documentation and pricing preparation.
At Tundra Specialty, he supports the underwriting team across new and renewal business, contributing to efficient operations and maintaining the company’s commitment to service excellence.
