Casper Specialty UK Limited (“Casper”), the specialist casualty-focused MGA, is today pleased to announce the launch of Tundra Specialty, a new offering dedicated to the niche renewable energy sector.
The launch is a first milestone in Casper’s strategy to broaden its product footprint. Tundra Specialty will begin writing business by the end of 2025.
Tundra Specialty will be led by Matthew Melville, who was most recently founder and CEO of Albus part of Ryan Specialty Group. Matthew has also served as Head of Renewable Energy at Travelers, prior to which he held the same role at Axis Capital.
Alongside Matthew will be Roger Mclean as Head of Distribution, accompanied by several staff members who will also become part of Tundra Specialty.
Operating as part of Casper, Tundra Specialty will have its own brand identity and underwriting strategy whilst benefiting from being part of Casper’s well-established platform.
